Comfrey Mulch

Comfrey is rich in nutrients including potassium, nitrogen, and phosphorus. You can use it to make a liquid fertilizer by soaking the leaves in a bucket of water for a few weeks. Strain the leaves out and dilute the solution 10 times with water to fertilize plants Use it no more than once a week. You can also simply use the leaves as mulch as shown in the video. Be careful not to get the invasive comfrey that spreads by seed. This is Russian comfrey. It only spreads by clumping.
