🚗 Driving Lesson with My Student Ciya | Roundabout Navigation, Lane Positioning & Safe Exits 🚗
In today's driving lesson, I worked with my student Ciya on developing confidence and competence when approaching, entering, and exiting roundabouts safely. Roundabouts can be one of the most challenging aspects of learning to drive, requiring good observation, lane discipline, effective planning, and sound decision-making. During this lesson, we focused on understanding road markings, choosing the correct lane, maintaining proper positioning, checking mirrors, using signals appropriately, and identifying safe gaps in traffic.

As the lesson progressed, Ciya practiced approaching different types of roundabouts while improving her awareness of surrounding traffic and road users. We worked on maintaining lane discipline throughout the roundabout and ensuring safe exits. At one point, instructor intervention was necessary when she was about to turn right from the left lane, creating an important learning opportunity about correct lane selection and planning ahead before entering a roundabout.

This lesson highlights the importance of anticipation, observation, and making timely decisions while driving. Mistakes are a natural part of the learning process, and every intervention provides valuable experience that helps build safer driving habits for future independent driving.
