Don't leave chicken eggs to hatch without regulation. Don't leave male chicks to grow without regulation. Don't leave an entire army of chicken to maul each other to death because you were too lazy to sort out and moderate the chickens. This place went from a beautiful, lovely ranch to the biggest chicken massacre of the century. Many chicken were killed this day, the cock fight will be remembered in history for the mess it caused, the families broken.

In other news though, the base is coming along nicely and our neighbours up at the gun store seem a lot less restless than they once were! I think once today is over and we smash through however many chickens we need to, heading back up there could be on the cards and finally clearing that place out is looking more promising than ever!
