What Is A “Modular Closet” And Why Do I Need One?

A modular closet system is a closet made up of standardized units or sections that allow for simple design, flexible arrangement, and easy construction.

Most closet companies sell what's called a “rail system”; a closet that is comprised of multiple panels that hang on a rail which is attached to a wall.

A rail system causes confusion during the design process, makes the installation process very complicated, and does not hold up as well over time.
