During her life she composed more that 175 works, many in a neo-Romantic style. Writer/composer David Canfield writers about her Symphony No. 1 in C, " Her first symphony is characterized by long flowing lines and lush sonorities. Its romantic character may in places remind the listener of the music of Howard Hanson, but her style remains her own."
