Hualien is a beautiful place surrounded by scenic view.
What is there to see apart from the famous 七星潭，Taroko Gorge etc?

We visit the natural terrain at Shitiping (石梯坪) and also the famous March (nissan model) Car-shape cave entrance at Shimen. Hollywood movie "Silence" was filmed there in 2016. Then we moved to see the Rice Terrace (unfortunately not at the right season).

We were absolutely pampered by the good food at Hualien! 玉里橋頭臭豆腐 is popular in the region attracting crowds daily. We also found a popular local tribal restaurant 阿美族原住民烤鱼 and had a sumptuous dinner! 7 dishes (including the signature dish - grilled fish) for only NT350 per pax (If there are 3 or more diners)
