Two Ejected, One Trapped, All Critical In Possible Inhalant DUI Crash

INCIDENT DATE/TIME: 5-22-24, 9:43 p.m.
LOCATION: 7315 INDIANA AVE.
AREA/CITY: Riverside
DETAILS:

Riverside Police Department and Riverside Fire Department responded to multiple reports of a single vehicle traffic collision that rolled several times with it occupants ejected and trapped.
When fire fighters arrived on scene, they found a single vehicle with major damage that was up against a pole.
One occupant was trapped in the vehicle, two others had been ejected.
Firefighters extricated the trapped occupant and he was transported to a local area hospital.
The two ejected occupants were also transported to local area hospitals.
According to the Battalion Chief, all three occupants were in critical condition.
At this time it is believed that the occupants were driving under the influence as police found a large blue canister of some type of gas in the vehicle, and believe that is was being used as an inhalant.
The scene is under investigation and the injured occupants current condition is not known.
