Bullish Cup & Handle Pattern – High‑Probability Breakout Setup (Scalping / Intraday)

Bullish Cup & Handle – a classic continuation pattern that signals a strong upward move after a period of consolidation.

How to identify:

A U‑shaped cup forms after a downtrend, with roughly equal highs on both sides.

The handle is a small pullback/drift downward on lighter volume, usually retracing 1/3 to 1/2 of the cup's height.

The breakout occurs when price clears the handle's high with increasing volume.

Trading plan:

Entry: Buy when price breaks above the handle's high with volume confirmation.

Stop loss: Below the lowest point of the handle.

Take profit: Measure the depth of the cup and project it upward from the breakout point.

Key tips:

Best on 1H–4H charts for intraday/swing trading.

Avoid cups that are too V‑shaped (not rounded enough).

Higher win rate when volume expands on the breakout.
