The (mis)adventures of installing Otto's convertible top continue!
Day 4.
Today was very productive! We got more steps done in this single day than the previous 3 days combined!
My friend Sam came by to help out for a few hours as we installed the headliner onto the wood bow and the two metal bows. We even sewed strong thread around the metal bows to reinforce the listings.
After that, my daughter Claire and I installed the foam pad wrap and long webbing straps to the front metal header bow, installed the webbing straps to all bows, including installing hog rings to secure the straps to the metal front header bow. We also added a strong thread to the headliner sides to reinforce the headliner and reduce sagging.
And finally we were able to fit the rear window frame into place.
