The Other Side of the Story: Schizophrenia
In this video, I attempt to draw empathy to the highly stigmatized and misunderstood topic of "Schizophrenia." I do this by analyzing the works of one of my favorite artists, Bryan Charnley. He suffered from schizophrenia and he depicts his condition vividly through allegories and symbolism, and I chose to talk about Bryan's art because I feel it can really draw empathy to such a misunderstood topic, and with millions struggling with this condition, it's important to help bring understanding and light to this subject.
