From Blue Sky to Tornado - Incredible TIMELAPSE of Tornadogenesis

Development of a thunderstorm, mesocyclone, funnel cloud, and a tornado - all caught on timelapse video without moving the camera.

The next three camera angles were in chronological order, following the same storm until it dissipated.

This occurred on 5-22-2015, NE of Alpine TX. The tornado was on the ground without a severe thunderstorm warning or tornado warning, due to limitations of radar in this area - it was effectively hidden.

I was incredibly lucky to be on a remote section of dirt road, with both directions leading into the hail core. I am fairly confident that nobody else witnessed this tornado occur. It was over rural areas, and no damage was found.

Out of a slight tornado risk area two states across, spanning hundreds of square miles, I still can't figure out how I managed to point my camera at the one place a tornado would actually occur -considering there were barely any clouds at the time.
