After Sasha and Malia left the White House, not a lot changed for these former First Daughters! The family chose to remain in Washington and the sisters still weren’t allowed to go out without security or Secret Service in tow! But despite growing up and living in the public eye, both Malia and Sasha have managed to focus on their friends, social lives, activism, and education as much as possible.

When Malia turned eighteen, we began seeing her out at concerts like Lollapalooza, letting loose like any normal teen! She even chose to take a gap year before enrolling in Harvard University. Malia spent her time wisely, trekking through South America and volunteering on film sets in the entertainment industry.

As for Sasha, she was spotted hanging with Cardi B and walking the campus of Michigan University.

Both of the Obama sisters have managed to keep things pretty down to earth - which is an impressive feat after being thrown into fame at the young ages of seven and ten years old. Now young women in their own right, let’s see what the former First Daughters have been up to!
