Chris Young Talks New Album "Famous Friends" | Off The Record

"For me [Famous Friends] is more meaningful, for a couple reasons, one, that song specifically calls out the people who made me who i am, my friends that i grew up with, that most people wouldn’t know. I think thats one of the reasons that so many people related to that song. Its about the teachers, the friends, the firefighters, the people that you just grew up around that might not be famous to everybody else, but they’re famous to you and they’re famous when you go back to your hometown. That connection is so real for everybody. "
