What's Wrong with my Mower? // I'm a MORON!

The other day I was mowing and my Toro Recycler started vibrating violently and sounded nasty! I'm not a mechanic and if it's not changing oil or spark plugs... I'm useless. So what's the worst that could happen by taking things apart and seeing what's wrong? The cause of the vibrating and nasty sound makes me look really... REALLY DUMB!
