The breeding life of the rockhopper penguins, Falkland Islands.m4v

The rockhopper penguins come back to the colony in October. They lay two eggs but rear usually only one chick. To feed it, the parents need to land whatever the sea conditions. At the end of the austral summer, the moult their feathers before to spend the next six months at sea.
