In this video Dr Harsh will provide a comprehensive overview about the latest All- inside ACL reconstruction technique. All-inside ACL reconstruction is a minimally invasive surgical technique that replaces a torn ACL with a graft, using bone sockets instead of traditional full bone tunnels, and suspensory fixation instead of screw fixation. 
𝗪𝗵𝗮𝘁 𝗶𝘁 𝗶𝘀:
The "all-inside" ACL reconstruction technique is a newer approach to ACL reconstruction that focuses on minimal invasiveness and potentially faster recovery. 
How it differs from traditional ACL reconstruction:
Instead of creating full tunnels in the bone for the graft, the all-inside technique creates bone sockets (or "bony sockets") on the tibial and femoral sides of the knee. 
Graft Fixation:
The graft is then passed through these sockets and secured using suspensory fixation devices, like sutures or tapes, instead of screws. 
Advantages:
Minimally Invasive: Smaller incisions and less bone reaming can lead to less pain and faster recovery. 
Anatomic Graft Placement: The technique allows for more precise and anatomically accurate graft placement. 
Bone Preservation: It can preserve bone mass and the integrity of the cortical bone. 
𝗦𝘂𝗿𝗴𝗶𝗰𝗮𝗹 𝗧𝗲𝗰𝗵𝗻𝗶𝗾𝘂𝗲
Graft preparation: The graft is prepared and passed through the femoral and tibial sockets. 

Socket Creation: Bony sockets are created using retrograde drilling techniques. 

Graft Fixation: The graft is secured using suspensory fixation devices. 

Studies have shown that the all-inside technique can have similar or superior biomechanical properties and clinical outcomes compared to traditional full-tunnel ACL reconstruction techniques.
