Google Cloud - Rolling update & canary on Instance Group

In this video I will show you how easy you can scale up (or scale down) your instance group. I will also show how you can prepare a new (or test) version of your application/instance, by using Rolling Update and Canary Testing approach. It gives you the possibility to route x% of your traffic (in my video ~33%) to newer version, where the rest of your traffic is reaching still older version.
This method is great to:
- test the new version and get some feedback
- test the new version for any unexpected bugs and roll slowely new version for higher percentage of your customers
- rollout the new version non disruptively for your customers/visitors.
- roll back to older version in case of any unforeseen issues in the future.
