Riding & Dining the Best of Boracay | A Pandemic Travel Story | World's Best Beaches

The summer of 2021 was a strange time to visit one of the best and most beautiful beaches in the world. Boracay, in the Philippines, had just reopened to tourists for the first time since the pandemic lockdowns. There were few crowds, zero foreign tourists, and everything from flights to accommodations to motorcycle rental was dirt cheap.

It's doubtful this will ever happen again!

Today the crowds and foreign tourists are back in Boracay and the locals are getting back on their feet.

This is the story of that brief window when we had five days of Boracay virtually to ourselves, dining and riding around the island.
