Built from 15,500 tyres, 420 tons of trash - this school is bringing a greener planet to every class
Give these children a special education in self sufficiency, to build a brighter future for them and our planet: https://donorbox.org/theecoschool
Frustrated with the lack of environmental change in the US, she left for Guatemala to help build something you’ve probably never seen before - and after you see it, you might even want to help it grow.
The Story:
Robin Rutchik worked in the US for over 6 years, fighting to get a legislation passed that would reduce carbon emissions across the country. Eventually succeeding and seeing their legislation passed, it wasn't long until they saw it removed as soon as Donald Trump arrived.
Exhausted in seeing her efforts reversed, she embarked on a journey to the remote village of Comalapa, Guatemala. Where she begin to work with a community to help provide children with a future that would provide them with the knowledge in not having to rely on support from outside industries and the government, both of which have failed many Guatemalans.
Like many countries, Guatemala continues to struggle with growing plastic pollution. However with one of the highest rates of poverty in Central America, Robin saw great potential in making a real difference and joined a community that aims to tackle both issues, head on.
With actions that are making an immediate impact, your support will directly help hundreds of children who are born into the most unfortunate situations. You can bring them an education and knowledge to build a brighter future for themselves and our planet.
