Cloud Agent or Coder Agents? Follow the Data Trail

Can a coding agent be enterprise-ready if you cannot prove where code, prompts, secrets, logs, and tool calls went?
This episode traces cloud coding agents against Coder Agents on controlled infrastructure and turns the claim into an inspectable data-flow test.

The comparison is not about which agent writes better code. It is about custody and evidence: where the repo executes, where model traffic goes, which secrets exist in each phase, what network egress is allowed, and whether logs connect a human prompt to tool calls, shell commands, file changes, and review artifacts.

The practical verdict: cloud coding agents are not automatically disqualified for regulated work, and controlled infrastructure is not automatically private. The deciding factor is inspectability.
