Ponderosa Pines and Jeffrey Pines of the Sierra
Two of my favorite Sierra trees. Very similar species so I combined them into 1 video. The most common conifers in California. There is nothing like the smell in a forest of these trees on a warm California day. The puzzle like bark on the mature varieties of these trees is amazing.
