Residents living in Gellibrand and along the Carlise river have been told to shelter indoors after an emergency bushfire broke out of control due to heightened heatwave conditions in parts of Victoria’s Otways region.
Forest Fire Management Victoria’s Chris Hardman says conditions have eased today but the fire will continue to move ahead of another temperature spike on Tuesday.
