Chris Harrison teases new bachelorette details, plus we have our first look at Matt James’ season of the bachelor!

Hey guys! Welcome to another Shared News from home! We’re breaking down everything that happened in bachelor nation this week, but before we get into it if you’re new here be sure to subscribe to our channel and ring the bell so you don’t miss out on any updates!

As always I’m your host Fiona Zaring, and I’m joined by the wonderful Avery Grooms!

Ok first up we have some new bachelorette teases from none other than Chris Harrison…

Chris stopped by Daily Pop and was grilled on the season- he was asked if Clare’s journey ended early and about Tayshia’s involvement and simply responded with:

"Clare is the Bachelorette. This whole season is all about her finding love. Lord knows she waited long enough, I mean, she is our longest reigning Bachelorette ever."

Ok last but not least! We finally know who will be competing for Matt James’ heart on the next season of the bachelor! (discuss as we go)

The show announced 43 women who could be competing for Matt’s heart- they’ll be announcing the final cast at a later date

He’s of course 28... The girls are mostly in their 20s. Four out of the 43 hopefuls are in their 30s, and the youngest contestant is 21.

Aside from their names, age and hometowns, not many other clues have been sent our way just yet…

They obviously all gorgeous, Very diverse lineup of Ladies
In terms of where everyone is from, California leads with 7 contestants, New York is second with 4, Then we have Texas and washington tied with 3. Outside the US we have a contestant from Ontario and another from Ethiopia.

As far as insight into what producers think Matt’s taste is visually..
There’s 35 brunettes, and 8 blondes
Based on the FB post 2 early faves seem to be Anna and Abigail
Ana is 24 and from Minnesota
Abigail is 25 and from Oregon

There is one contestant we already know a little bit about because her MOM is a famous fashion designer Cynthia Rowley’s daughter Kit Keenan is actually the youngest in the lineup at 21

The mother-daughter duo host a podcast called “Ageless,” which promises to “explore fashion, business, wellness, and motherhood through the lens of our adventures around the world.” Keenan also heads up a clothing label called KIT.

Based on her instagram she looks very active- frequently posts work out videos - and she loves to cook!
