"Alla Prima II" by Richard Schmid: Chapter 2 Book Review
Chapter 2 of Richard Schmid's "Alla Prima II" is about painting what you see. This in depth book review goes into detail explaining what each chapter is about and includes sharing a few of the photos of Schmid's paintings and a few quotes from the book. The idea is to give the viewer a better idea about whether they want to purchase the painting book.
Chapter 2 is mostly about painting what you see and brush stroke strategy with a little art history built in. This video includes images from master painters such as Zorn, Sargent, Henri, Serov, and Twachtmann for brush stroke examples. It also touches on Chiaroscuro painting as a historical style developed by Michelangelo.

They want to expand the channel and experiment with different video styles and content adopting the motto that you have to make 1,000 crummy videos before you can make a good one.
They are still eager to build community and interact with those who will comment. Show them you own painting progress so they can give you a shout out in an upcoming painting video. When you subscribe, if you click the little bell on the right, you will get push notifications for new videos.
