We embarked on a 5 week overland road trip through South Africa, over 5000km, visiting some of the most iconic places in the country. Starting from Hoedspruit, gateway to the Northern Kruger National Park. Hazyview, which offers incredibly close access to the Southern Kruger. Then on to Pongola in Kwazulu natal, the green and friendly Midlands Meander and then down to the Western Cape Garden Route, Klein Karoo and Southern Cape.

If you haven’t heard the word “glamping” yet, be prepared to hear it a lot more often in the future, because it’s the latest thing when it comes to camping and outdoor adventure experiences, this is doing camping in style. And Africamps are the folks who brought the concept to Africa.

From bushveld, the Big 5, rolling green hills, mountains and vineyards, this trip has it ALL.
