NEW EASIEST INFERNO METHOD? Mage Tank Rob Style!
Hey everyone and welcome to the perfect video if you wanted to try to get your first infernal cape but don't want to use mechanically intensive methods on the waves such as 1t alternating or precise offticks! As promised here is a text guide to go along with the video, hope it helps and hope you enjoy trying this method yourself!
---
*Inventory:* As shown in vid, although I recommend swapping out one of the restores for a 9th brew, as we had a lot of extra restore at the end!
*Autocast:* Blood barrage (easy healing during the waves by equipping autocast staff!) (AKA HEALING STICK)
*Wave start procedure:* End every wave as close to 99hp as possible. After last monster dies, click the proper start tile, make sure proper gear and prayer is up and prepare to send ONE ice barrage on the nibblers (if safe can clean up nibblers with autocast blood barrage)
*Early waves:* Mage robes and camp pray range! Blobs are by far the biggest chip damage, so use line of sight around the north pillar to prevent taking too much damage. Melees are not very scary as they are very inaccurate even against virtus and can be reliably frozen in this setup.
*Blobs:* Be sure to kill them in the optimal locations shown in the video (most importantly blob south of north pillar is killed on west side, and blob west of pillar is killed on south side so you can phantom barrage hp back easily!)
---
*Late waves (50+):* Begin to play more conservatively around the nibblers at the start of waves. If you played fairly aggressive on the nibblers early your pillars should be healthy enough to not worry much about them at this point.
*Solving 50+ pillar stacks (DESTACKING):*
Pray augury on the freeze attempt to decrease chance of splash and also reduce the chance that the ranger will hit you!
*Range front, mage back*
Step out WEST, freeze the ranger in front. Stepping to the east side will destack the mage.
*Mage front, range back*
Step out EAST, freeze the mage in front. Go all the way you can NORTH of the tile labelled "50+ Start". Step out one WEST and then return behind the pillar to destack the ranger.
*Other stacks*
If blob is in front you can do the same as a range front stack (stepping out WEST and freezing, before going a bit east to destack what is behind the blob). You may have to get a bit creative with certain stacks but as long as you know the basics to destacking you should be able to finagle your way through any situation!
*Triple Jads:* Probably the hardest part of the inferno, barring zuk healers. Try your best to not make mistakes, as if you do it is fairly difficult to recover, especially under the pressure of a first cape. If you do make a mistake, try to sip 1 potion dose between jad attacks when comfortable and repeat until near full health again.
*Zuk:* Arguably easier than on a bowfa first cape since you can swap into tank gear to tag both set monsters and take much less damage on average from the ranger. DPS is similar to a bowfa cape, so I would give the same recommendation as my bowfa guides which is always wait for the 2nd set before healers unless you have watched a lot of inferno vids and are very confident you can clear healers before 2nd set spawns (2nd set spawning mid healers is an absolute death sentence for almost anyone, but especially a learner!)
---
That's about it for the text guide, if you have any other questions or comments about the method definitely leave a comment and I will try to reply to as many as I can! Hope you enjoyed the video and subscribe if you enjoyed the method as I will be releasing yet another example of me doing this chill method soon!
Best of luck in the inferno friends and see you in the next one! :)
