Fly Tying - Crappie Day Saver

In this tutorial, you will learn how to tie a Crappie Day Saver. The total length is about 1.5" long and it is very easy to tie. You can also have a wide variety of color combinations to be ready for any tough situation.

This fly is very effective when crappie are finicky. This past spring I had a situation where none of my proven crappie flies worked well. Crappie started to bite eagerly as soon as I switched to this fly. The name of this fly came from that experience.
