Julia Hartley-Brewer: 'I’ve got the right to shout at politicians when you do stupid things!'
talkRADIO's Julia Hartley-Brewer clashed with Conservative MP Colonel Bob Stewart over his decisions to vote in favour of the government's Covid tier restrictions.
The Tory backbencher said Boris Johnson had "no choice" but to implement tough restrictions on the advice of his scientific and medical advisers.
Julia said his argument was "a load of nonsense".
She continued: “I’m a voter, I’ve got the right to shout at politicians when you do stupid things – yes I am shouting at you!”
The Prime Minister is braced for a damaging Tory rebellion as MPs vote on the new toughened system of coronavirus controls for England.
The government is expected to win the Commons vote on the new rules after Labour said it would abstain.
