Real estate agents often think of themselves as just that, "real estate agents".

But... does the word, "influencer" apply to them?.... YES!

The real estate industry is changing faster than most Realtors can keep up with. The internet and social media platforms have changed the industry for good. And will continue to disrupt it forcing you to change with the times.

Traditionally real estate agents are considered to be "salespeople" and as such think like salespeople.

Take a look at any old-school real estate coach. They preach "sales" and use the word "professional" to make you believe that's your job if you truly are "professional".

Tim Farris said it best, "Your network IS your net worth".

So the question really is, are you a "sales professional" or are you an "influencer?"

The real estate agent of the future is the one with the biggest network, the biggest following, the biggest influence... not the one who is the best "sales professional".
