White work - snowflake flower with Gota work

White work is my all time favorite. Worked out a simple and beautiful flower with basic stitches and Gota petals to create a snowflake effect. Enjoy this video as Christmas is round the corner.

Gota work also known as 'Gota Patti' is used in rich ethnic traditional Indian embroidery. It is an applique technique where small cut pieces of zari is applied on the fabric and the edges are embroidered to create beautiful patterns / designs.
