this is riley whitelaw. she is seventeen years old and right now she is in the middle of her shift at a walgreens store in colorado springs. but what she does not know is that the moment she steps away from the counter to take her break will be the last time anyone ever sees her alive. because someone was already waiting for her and had decided that today would be the final day of her life. from that moment a tragic story begins of a high school senior who spent more than a year reaching out to those around her desperately asking for help. and it will end with her mother standing in her place to receive the graduation certificate she never got the chance to claim herself.
