UNGA backs Palestine's UN membership: How good are the chances this time?

Recently, the UN General Assembly overwhelmingly backed a resolution favoring full UN membership for Palestine, which currently has UN observer status. While 143 countries voted in favor, 25 abstained, and nine were against it, including the U.S. and Israel. What does the resounding approval mean to Palestinians? What are the challenges still ahead for Palestine to become a UN member? As the war rages on in Gaza, how far are we from a two-state solution to the Palestinian issue? To take a closer look, we are joined by Rick Dunham, a visiting scholar at Tsinghua University; Dr. Gal Luft, co-director of the Institute for the Analysis of Global Security; and Wang Jin, associate professor from Northwest University of China.
