IRENA @COP28: Renewables for Climate Action: Launch of the Empowering Lives & Livelihoods initiative
At the 28th United Nations Climate Change Conference (COP28), the International Renewable Energy Agency (IRENA) and the United Arab Emirates are set to introduce 'Empowering Lives and Livelihoods – Renewables for Climate Action', an initiative designed to close energy access gaps, focusing on food security, health, gender equality, and job creation. Mr. Gurbuz Gonul, Director of IRENA’s Country Engagement and Partnerships, invites participants to attend the launch at COP28's Global Renewables Hub on 4 December 2023.
