How Donald Trump got middle America's votes, and why they could secure him a second term

Donald Trump delivered a political earthquake when he won the 2016 elections. Much of that victory can be attributed to his success in the Rust Belt where he fostered a political dialogue with former Democrat voters who felt forgotten following years of globalisation. This segment of middle America and America's middle-class is now crucial for an election win, and both the Democrats and the Republicans are fighting for this ground.
