Exploring And Metal Detecting: Homeless Camps Edition

Today Mike and I explore a permission where the Federal Army camped and dug trenches and breastworks during the American Civil War. Although we were definitely on the exact hill where the defensive trenches were located, we struggled to find evidence of actual occupation by the U.S. Army. We did however find plenty of evidence of another sort of camp.
