1 Chronicles Chapter 14 – David Established and Guided by God

In First Chronicles chapter 14, David’s kingdom becomes more firmly established. Hiram king of Tyre sends messengers, cedar wood, masons, and carpenters to build David a house. This confirms that David’s influence is growing and that the Lord is establishing him as king over Israel.
