Not Your Everyday AeroPress Coffee Recipe: Wade Preston's 2018 US Brewers Cup Qualifier Recipe

In this video I walk through Wade Preston's (Founder and Head Roaster of Prevail Coffee: https://prevailcoffee.co) interesting AeroPress recipe he used for the 2018 US Brewers Cup Qualifier Recipe. ## Recipe

**Needed Items**

1. AeroPress
2. Fellow Products Prismo attachment
3. AeroPress filters
4. A way to sift out fines. Preston uses a 600 micron sleeve for the Kruve sifter. In the video I show how to use a tea infuser to help achieve the same thing.

**Recipe Directions**

1. Use an AeroPress filter in Prismo
2. 50g pre-infusion with 145º F water
3. Gently stir to saturate
4. Wait 3 minutes; while you're steeping the water heat your water kettle to 208º F
5. Pour 155g with 208º F water
6. Wait 2 minutes 30 seconds
7. Stir gently
8. Press AeroPress slowly for 30 seconds
9. Wait 1-2 minutes before drinking or until the coffee cools. After it cools you will get the best flavors and mouthfeel for your brew
