Blade & Soul NA Circle of Sundering Master Hong Guide

Guide for Master Hong, the final boss in Circle of Sundering.

Attack Cycle:

- Linear unblockable aoe (expands).
- 360 unblockable aoe (inner then outer).
- Linear unblockable aoe (expands).
- Aerial knock up attempt (blockable), follows with aerial combo if successful with knock up.
- Deflects all frontal attacks with a shield.
- (After 75%) 2-hit 360 blockable aoe.
- Attack pattern will repeat.

Special attack after 2 completed cycles. Use iframes to avoid them.

Mechanics: 75%, 50%, & 25%

- Finishes his attacks then jumps to the centre of the room.
- Pulls you towards him.
- Fires a 180 degree field of DEATH from your position.
- Field will be left or right of you based on the side Master Hong's hands are on. For example, hands on left, means field will cast left of your position.
- After third field, he will pull.
- After 4 fields, he attempts an instant kill animation.
- Use any double CC to interrupt.

Notes:

- Don't be too far as he will leap towards you. The leap causes knock up, followed by aerial combo.
- The fields during his mechanics will kill you if you touch them. Cannot be iframed.
- Best to completely avoid all of his attacks. Most of his unblockable aoe attacks will apply a DEBUFF.
- The debuff is called Wind Scar. It has high damage over time, maximum stack of 5.
