How to Transform Scrap Cords Into a Macrame Wall Hanging

Do you have lots of scrap cords laying around & not knowing what to do with them?

This DIY tutorial may be right for you! In this tutorial, we will be going over 2 different techniques to add texture to your projects with scrap cords in the form of 1) fluffy fringe and 2) layered fringe.

Now if you don't have scrap cords or if you are brand new to macrame, that's okay too, you can just cut the suggested cord lengths to make this boho wall hanging.

The details of the materials and cord lengths required are as follows:
Materials:
1) 12" - 16" dowel / driftwood
2) 4mm Cotton Cord: https://bochiknot.com/product/foundation-4mm-single-strand-twist/

Suggested Cord lengths:
1) 18 x 200 cm (79")
2) 36 x 80 cm (31")
3) 36 x 45 cm (17"
4) And a bunch of smaller scraps at 3"-4" long

The approximate dimensions of the macrame only are: width of 11" and length of 22"

This is a fun macrame project to make and goes well as boho decor for any room!
