I wanted to share my thoughts on the new CISSP exam changes, which is what you will test on after June 1st 2022 if you take the CAT CISSP exam.
What changes on the CISSP exam?
After June 1st 2022:
125-175 Questions.
4 hours.
50 beta questions.
82 seconds per question, assuming 175 questions.
Before June 1st 2022:
100-150 Questions.
3 hours.
25 beta questions.
72 seconds per question, assuming 150 questions.
What stays the same on the CISSP exam?
The CISSP curriculum and the domain weights.
Beta questions does not count towards your overall score.
You will not know which questions are beta questions.
The exam is still a CAT exam.
You should still spend more time on the first 10-20 questions, for the CAT curve.
You can still take breaks.
It is still an in-person exam in a test center.
