Former Speaker of the House Newt Gingrich at Dartmouth-Hitchcock

Dartmouth-Hitchcock welcomed Former Speaker of the House Newt Gingrich on January 6, 2012, as part of its Health Policy Grand Rounds.

For each election cycle, Dartmouth-Hitchcock Medical Center (DHMC) hosts a series of individual conversations with all declared presidential candidates and special guests, on the subjects of health care and health policy in America. We call these conversations Health Policy Grand Rounds.

Health Policy Grand Rounds is modeled after DHMC's Clinical Grand Rounds to offer an educational forum for our staff and to provide presidential candidates with an excellent opportunity to discuss health care policy in general, and to offer details on their own specific initiatives. These events are open to DHMC employees and the media.
