College Protest Over Gaza ERUPT. Hundreds ARRESTED, Met With Force. USC CANCELS Main Commencement

Protests led by pro-Palestinian college students have broken out across the country on campuses.

In Atlanta, protesters were met with force on Emory's campus. Like other students, they are calling for their colleges to divest of funds from Israeli military operations. Some Jewish students on the campuses have called the protests antisemitic and said they are scared for their safety.

Protests have erupted across the nation, leading to several arrests and student removals at Columbia, Yale University, New York University, Harvard, University of Texas at Austin, University of Southern California, and others.

Tiffany Loftin, a National Labor and Education Organizer, joins us from California to discuss why these demonstrations are spreading.
