SLC (1746) to Compact 5000 (5069) I/O Conversion System (1492) 10-minute Timelapse

This time-lapse video shows how this conversion system easily converts I/O used for the SLC-5 platform to the Compact Logix 5380 platform.

By reusing the same cabinet, the same field wiring, the same I/O and same SLC swingarms, the pre-manufactured conversion cables bring that I/O to the new control system with no wiring changes.

In addition to the time saved for wiring, field I/O checkout is eliminated.

Even the same holes are reused and thus there is no risk of drill shavings falling into existing electronic equipment.
