Better Clarinet Tone in 5 Days - Day 1 - Enjoy these 5 sessions, each under 15 minutes long to give you some skills and exercises to sound better on the clarinet. Here is the schedule:
Day 1 - The Basics That You Need For Better Clarinet Tone
This is an introduction to things that can most help you improve your clarinet sound: Embouchure, Air Support, Gear and Your Concept Of Sound
Day 2 - Blow It! How Better Air Creates Better Tone On Clarinet
Players of almost every level can continue to improve their air support, which is key to creating a more beautiful, flowing sound on the clarinet. Learn three technics that you can try daily to consistently improve your clarinet tone this week.
Day 3 - Clarinet Embouchure - What Should You Do With Your Mouth?
The shape of our lips, tongue, teeth placement and use of facial muscles all have an impact on our clarinet sound. Do you know the best habits? Do you know how your tongue shape affects your sound? You can improve your sound a great deal by understanding the shapes you want to create, and using the training exercises in today’s lesson to get there.
Day 4 - Finally! You Can Blame Your Equipment...
Although your knowledge, air support and embouchure have the biggest impact on the sound coming out of your clarinet, gear does influence it. In today’s session, you’ll get an overview of how your tone is affected by reeds, mouthpieces, barrels and clarinets. This may help you decide if you should upgrade any of your clarinet gear.
Day 5 - What Is The Beautiful Clarinet Sound That You Want To Make? How Do You Get There?
You may have heard a performance on the clarinet that represents THE sound that you would like to make. How do you get there? Here are some tangible pointers for you to consistently move toward the clarinet sound that you want to create.
