Aluminum Fire Ant Colony Casting

Finally found another fire ant colony that needed a history lesson about Pompeii. Got permission from the neighboring city mayor to attempt casting anthills on government land. Loaded up in the truck and gave it a shot. The homemade foundry and molten soda cans proved to create a beautiful fire ant colony aluminum casting. The addition of the Phantom 3 Advanced aerial photography is a nice touch.
