1961 Dinah Washington - Our Love Is Here To Stay

Written for the 1938 movie “The Goldwyn Follies,” this can be classified as the last great George Gershwin-penned standard…at least in part. Though only the Gershwin brothers are given composer credit on the label, it was Vernon Duke who had assisted Ira by completing the unfinished melody started by George prior to his July 1937 death.
