Get to Know Yourself

A simple song I wrote last year (and played up at JUMPS tonight last year 4/20/2019) about yet another existential feeling of self realisation in learning ones own identity and place in existence (which isn’t always easy to come by)
I feel it’s almost more relevant now in the midsts of this viral outbreak and we’re all having to face down with ourselves for awhile. It’s Get to Know yourself (so why don’tchya!?)

But have you ever seen the way people engulf themselves

No matter how blind you may be
You should comprehend your surroundings

Do you look backwards
More often than you see things now?
