A Conversation with Willem Dafoe | NYFF56

Coming off his Oscar nomination earlier this year for his remarkable performance in The Florida Project, a highlight of NYFF55, the always dynamic Willem Dafoe is back at the New York Film Festival with his intensely emotional performance as Vincent van Gogh in Julian Schnabel’s At Eternity’s Gate. Dafoe sits down with NYFF Director Kent Jones to discuss his role in Schnabel’s vividly beautiful film, this year’s closing night selection, as well as his illustrious career and the craft of acting in general.

The 17-day New York Film Festival highlights the best in world cinema, featuring top films from celebrated filmmakers as well as fresh new talent.
