These Pretzel Bites with Sourdough Discard are one of our favorite snacks—my kids can’t get enough!
Soft, chewy, and golden with that perfect pretzel crunch, they’re a fun way to use up sourdough discard. The best part? No boiling! Just brush a baking soda wash right on top before baking—it’s a simple hack that gives you that classic pretzel texture without the extra step.
Top them with melted butter and finish with flaky salt or cinnamon sugar (we usually do both). We’ve been making these for years and they are still made frequently at our house. Have you tried them yet?!
