Welcome back, everyone! In today's video, I’m taking my love of Final Fantasy VII and building a full, layered, 3D topographic map of Gaia (the FF7 world map) entirely from wood, using a laser cutter.

Technically, this is a re-do, as I've made this one before quite a while ago. But now I do it in a much less dumb way.

From the frozen tundras of the north to the deserts of the south, every location is here—Midgar, Junon, Costa del Sol, and more. If you're an FF7 fan or just a fan of intricate laser-cutting projects, you’re going to love this process.
